Kayla's Photo Shoot
One morning while in Utah Kayla and I woke up at an unearthly hour to test out my photography skills, it was so much fun and she was an absolute trooper to put up with me. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful, kind, talented, caring, and hilarious sister.

UTAH
Going back home to Utah this summer really reminded of how beautiful Utah really is. The mountains were so green and still had snow on them, good friends and family abounded, it came and went too fast.
However while I there I did get to see a concert in the park with these two lovely ladies and my cousin Brianna
visit my Alma mater, (where I am already being out-moded as the campus has changed so much since I have been there with the new Desert Towers Cathedrals, landscaping in the South side of campus, and plans to build a new Widsoe building)
go to dinner with one of Enoch's favorite mission companions and his fiancee, congratulations
take pictures with seriously talented friend Jessica and go to my cousins wedding there the next day
experience the Western goodness of the Rodeo (hows this for a good action shot)
with these two cowboys
ride this horse
and a whole bunch more to come
Needles June 6-8th
You may ask where or what is Needles, to that I would have to respond that is a great question. I choose to summarize Needles by a land of extreme heat situated perfectly by a gorgeous river where jet ski's, sand, a sweet 70's mobile home, and awesome friends abound or a small city on the border of California and Arizonia that knows how to bring a party.
We will forever be indebted to the Wheat's for the many adventures they have included us in, the latest a trip to the Senior Mobile Park for a trip to the river. It was such a blast riding their intense ski-doos 60mph+ on the river, building sand castles, tubing, frying in the sun, seeing the "city", playing games, and going to the river again. Here's the proof

Roommate Reunion 2011-SoCal
Over Memorial weekend some of my college roommates (and their new roommate/ spouses) came to Los Angeles to party, long live Ghetto Belmont #37. As if it wasn't already enough that I could bust out my old slang (NBD, ROTC, etc) and be understood, we resumed our code language, memory lane all in the beautiful Southern California. Here is the rundown of the party
Venice Beach: Surfing, boogie boarding, sand castles, crazy seagulls, boardwalk,
Dodger game: BBQ, fireworks, and blueberry yogurt pretzels
LA Temple, Rodeo Drive (not pictured)
Santa Barbara: Sam and Reagan, private beach, volleyball, frigid water, Frisbee, downtown Santa Barbara, Mexican food, sunset bike ride to the bluffs, and a fabulous paparazzi (me of course)

Monterey Bay Part 2
This happened in January and now it is almost June, so since they both start with J's I thought I would post these pictures.
Enoch and I love, love, loved Monterey Bay. It was beautiful, there weren't many people there, our hotel was literally $32 a night (so maybe it had its quirks but come on, it was all part of the adventure) , the drive was gorgeous winding around the coast, we learned about the good old days when Monterey used to be a huge sardine fishing and packaging plant- it is better to learn about sardines then eat them, we went on a crazy bike ride on 17 mile drive which was breathtaking and a killer on the legs and tail bone ( I could barely walk after and was reduced to laughing because of my total soreness), and there was no lack of beautiful scenery to take pictures of.
